Heavenly Heat Saunas |
Saunas Designed with Your Health in Mind. The main goal in designing saunas for detoxification is to create a pure-air environment. Many sauna companies seem unaware of this, or they ignore this basic requirement, or unfortunately, they misrepresent their product (a growing issue that we confront on an almost daily basis with several unscrupulous sellers posing as builders of safe saunas). At Heavenly Heat, building saunas that are ideal for detoxification has been our specialty since 1989. A detox sauna must be built in a manner that is much more demanding than with ordinary saunas. Many FIR saunas are built as cabinets are: with lots of glue so you won’t see any fasteners, with outside varnishes, with thin wall paneling, and sometimes with laminates or plywood. They may look good, but it’s definitely not the way to build a chemically safe sauna. When detoxing, the last thing you want to do is sweat out one toxin while inhaling the fumes from another! In Heavenly Heat saunas, no wood glue, varnish, plywood, or laminate is used. Untreated, dry white poplar - a low-resin, low-aroma hardwood is used for all of the wooden parts of the saunas. The framing is securely screwed together, not glued. Windows are made of strong tempered glass. Our far-infrared (FIR) heaters have very low electro-magnetic fields (EMFs). For extremely sensitive individuals, mostly-glass units are available. Each sauna includes a venting system that automatically changes the air on a constant basis, with carbon-filtering of the stale air as it leaves the sauna. For many years, these exceptional saunas have been recommended by the physicians most experienced throughout North America in using saunas to treat the chemically ill, including Dr. William Rea, Dr. Allan Lieberman, and many others. Heavenly Heat Sauna Heaters Each stone heater is a UL/CSA-approved, deluxe stainless steel model with a thermostat, a 60-minute timer, over-heat protection, with traditional sauna stones imported from Finland. These warmed stones emit FIR abundantly while providing the ability to control the room's humidity or to use aromatherapy. The air is quickly charged with refreshing, invigorating negative ions when the stones are moistened. The A, A+ and FIR models all have power cords. The M models require a professional hookup (" hardwire"). Each stone heater is cleaned and run prior to placement in the sauna. Electrical specifications can be found on the Detail Sheet. The RBs are backrests containing 3 curved "pure ceramic" FIR emitters with wide-angle reflectors and built-in intensity controllers. The base emitter is positioned vertically and the upper row horizontally so almost the entire back receives the FIR, not just the spine. These emitters produce far infrared energy primarily in the 4-14 micron range. FIR heating in the combination models is: 6 emitters in the A-Rad (RB plus emitters for legs, feet knees) and 8 in the A+ (2 RB's, 2 at legs). Several RBs can be used in each M model. Red/NIR lamps, installed in the ceiling, are optional in these models -1 in the A, 1 or 2 in the A+, an 1 - 5 in the M models. They are placed out in front of a seated bathers head to mostly warm the chest with this very comfortable form of infrared heat energy. Their intensity is fully controllable. Low EMF heating is critical due to the closer proximity to bathers in FIR saunas. In corners, an RB can be turned against a side wall to stretch the legs out an retain the ideal FIR exposure upon the back. In the A+ and M models, bathers can sit in-between two RBs that are turned to face each other to create a unique "sandwiching" effect upon the upper torso. In the all infrared models, low - EMF, carbonized steel FIR heaters are built into the walls with large reflectors, They are designed to most comfortably maximize FIR exposure, NIR lamps are optional. In the FIR1 and FIR2, their inclusion requires that the sauna is used on a 20-amp electrical circuit, and in the FIR3 an additional 15-amp circuit must be used. Infrared energy is fast-acting and may accelerate the detox process with sauna beginners. For safety and comfort, Heavenly Heat takes the invaluable, unique precaution of making the intensity of the infrared energy from the most significant heaters in each sauna model fully controllable from the bench in the sauna. Conclusions Saunas are promoted for their health benefits, but the air purity is often ignored (and often toxic). To create safer saunas, Heavenly Heat developed no-adhesive construction techniques. Aside from the chemical exposure, wood glue eventually wears down form the dramatic temperature shifts in a sauna, and a glued-together saunas durability is eventually compromised. On the other hand, our no-glue construction relies on Non-corrosive screws and locked -in thicker paneling. assuring that your sauna has both the clean air that you need and the strength that you expect so it will last for decades. Heavenly Heat pioneered the chemically-safe sauna decades ago. Today, some FIR sauna companies offer low-resin wood for the visible wall paneling and promote their sauna as if this makes them appropriate for the chemically sensitive. Consumers should know that some of these saunas have been built with a different, possibly objectionable species of wood for the concealed framing, and that plywood has also been commonly include. So-called "non -toxic" glues are usually used - and used substantially rather tan "minimally" (or the saunas would fall apart). Common woodworking glues are totally unacceptable as they are liquefied plastic that contains several unwanted chemical agents ( biocides, etc.). We do not simply include some no-resinous wood paneling, as our imitators apparently do, so we can promote our saunas as safer, but instead, we actually build them to be as safe as possible. With a Heavenly Heat sauna you can relax, knowing your are bathing in a safe, truly clean environment. The construction materials are openly and honestly disclosed . We honor the trust that our customers and the many healthcare providers that recommend our saunas have placed in us for many years. A Heavenly Heat sauna can serve a family's health and fitness needs for generations. we designed them by consulting with the leading experts in chemical sensitivity and by addressing the needs of hundreds of individuals. It is with good reason the the are recommended by the world, leading authorities in clinical sauna detoxification. Each sauna is factory-assembled and tested, disassembled le, crated and shipped insured with a 7- year warrant. They can be dissembled and relocated. The special qualities of these saunas are readily apparent to health-conscious persons. |

1 - 3 PERSON FAR INFRARED SAUNA MODELS |
| In these 3 models one of the FIR back heaters and NIR ceiling heaters are separated from the sauna's thermostat so they are not automatically regulated by the room's air temperature setting. They are controlled by the sauna's outside electronic timer and also by the direct control of the bather from within the sauna. Each inside controller modulates the infrared intensity of these critical heaters. Beginners have the ability to minimize the infrared exposure initially, as they adapt, and latter allow continuous full-power exposure regardless of the saunas air temperature. These are important features for both safety and optional detoxification benefits. | |

FIR 1 A personal FIR sauna that surrounds the bather with 6 far-infrared heaters. The bather has full FIR exposure in front of each leg, behind the lower legs, along the back, and at each side of the torso. To increase the sauna's intensity, and to receive the therapeutic benefits of red light, a near-infrared (NIR) ceiling lamp can also be switched on, and its' intensity modulated, from within the sauna. This model uses a standard 15-amp, 110V outlet. Size: 3'-4" x 4'-5" |

FIR 2 Full FIR exposure is provided for two bathers with 6 heaters. One FIR heater is positioned at the end of the bench in the side wall, so a single bather can stretch out along the bench with FIR still at there back. Most 2-person FIR saunas have no end wall heater to warm the back in this more comfortable postiion. Changing positions to lean against the end wall without a FIR back heater causes the sweat to quickly drop off or to stop completely. This sauna also uses a standard 15-amp, 110V wall outlet. One or two red NIR celing lamps can be added as options, and will require the use of a 20-amp, 110V circuit. Size: 3'-9" x 4'-6" |

FIR 3 At 6'-2" wide this is a very spacious 3 person FIR sauna. A single bather is able to recline on a 5'-9" long bench. It includes 7 FIR heaters. A 20 amp, 110V circuit is required. 1 - 3 red/NIR ceiling heaters may be added optionally. The red lights(s) is positioned to provide comfortable heating upon the bench so sweat rate is not compromised when the bather reclines. a separate, additional 15-amp circuit is required with this option. A1, A2 & A-RAD Models The A1 and A2 models are comfortable personal saunas that use stone heaters with FIR as an option. The A1 uses a 2.1kw, 120V stone heater. This must use a 20-amp circuit. If one is not available, a 1.7kw heater can be substituted that uses a 15-amp, 120V circuit instead. The A2 model uses a 3kw stone heater that requires a 20-amp 240V circuit. Adding far infrared optionally requires using a 2nd circuit - a common 15-amp, 120V wall outlet. The A-Rad model is the same size room as the A1 and A2 models, but it uses a lower-powered stone heater and adds 6 FIR heaters - 3 in the RB, 1 below the seat ( for the back of the calves), and 2 in front - one for the soles of the feet and one for the knees. The stones provide FIR towards the front of the body just above the legs. Regardless of including a stone heater there is more there is more FIR exposure than most FIR saunas. It uses a single 15-amp 120V circuit. If a second circuit can be used you may choose one of the stronger A model's stone heaters for the same price. ( the 1.7kw, 2.1kw or the 3kw). A-PLUS The A- Plus is a large 2 person sauna that integrates the best features of FIR with authentic stone heating. A sole bather in the A-Plus can turn a RB against the adjacent wall and stretch out with the FIR still at their back. In this position, you can pivot the other RB to face you from the other end of the bench to stimulate the nerve endings in the soles of the feet. You can also sit in between them to target both sides of the upper body. you can receive more Fir exposure while in greater comfort than in most 3 person FIR saunas. Two circuits are required. Please refer to the Detail Sheet. 2 stone heater options are available. Size: 4'-2" x 4'-3" |

In the larger M models, the height is raised from 6'-1" to 6"-7". The main bench is raised so the heat and FIR from the stones is most effectively experienced. The M1 an M2 have windows on the front and both sides (GL3). The M3 uses (GL1), all wood except for the front, with an inside light. These units use deluxe stainless steel 240V stone heaters. RB's can be added in these units within general limits: the M1 will most comfortably utilize 1-3, the M2 1- 4 and the M3 1-5. |
