Dr. Mary Meadows "CEO and co-owner" of the Montana company explains that their hydrogen fuel cells are unique and far superior to the competition’s products because of the companies of proprietary nano coating process developed by Jerry Nezat. Jerry "co-owner" is the companies Head of Research and Development. This special nano coating on the stainless steel plates gives them a huge increase in surface area. Proprietary Nano Coating Technology 

The stainless steel plates in the H2 Pure Power hydrogen generator kits are treated in a 4 stage process invented and perfected by inventor, Jerry Nezat, one of the partners in the Montana based company.

3 J’s Research and Development, PLC company as well as the manufacturer, H2 Pure Power LLC company.  Jerry has worked on perfecting the Nano Coating process for 40 years. The stainless steel plates are leached of the iron and then “nano-coated” to create at least 20 times the actual space of the plates, thereby creating much more hydrogen than other fuel cells being marketed. None of the competitors who are producing alternative fuel cells have the nano-coated plates which makes a tremendous difference.   

The plates are strengthened by the process and will last the lifetime of the car or longer. Other plates in competitors' kits will only last for a short time – less than a year as they are dissolved by the chemicals and also do not have the ability to produce massive amounts of hydrogen as the H2 Pure Power Generators. 

The special treatment of the plates creates an interesting phenomenon in that there is a negative charge, which keeps pulling the water back into the generator from the bubbler (reservoir) and hydrogen is produced from the recycled water repeatedly. It is a mysterious phenomenon.

1) What is a H2 Pure Power Generator?
An electrolysis device that generates a large amount of HHO gas. H2 Pure Power Generators are produced by an evolving company that will be creating the best HHO gas generators on the market today. With our proprietary patent-pending nano-coating process, our generators are able to perform at their peak for gas output. The HHO gas is pulled into your engine air intake by running a fuel line or clear plastic tubing from the output of the HHO generator to the Air Filter case on your vehicle's engine. When HHO gas meets the air and fuel at the burn point the results are a cleaner burn with less waste of fuel giving you better performance, improved gas mileage and most importantly reduced emissions.

2) What is HHO Gas?
HHO is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water. A pure stoichiometric mixture is most easily obtained by water electrolysis, which uses an electric current to dissociate the water molecules to produce a combination of hydrogen and oxygen we currently refer to as HHO. Other commonly referred names are brown's gas, oxyhydrogen, hydroxy, green gas, di-hydroxy, watergas, and many other commercially coined names.

3) How does it work?
The HHO Gas is piped into the intake after the air filter, or into the intake manifold via a vacuum line. The HHO increases the burn velocity during the combustion cycle for a complete burn rather than a partial burn to end up in your exhaust. The H2 flame speed allows for more of the fuel to react completely, which will provide an increase in combustion efficiency. HHO also allows gas to remain flammable at lean air and fuel ratios.

4) What is Potassium Hydroxide?
Potassium Hydroxide is a strong alkaline, also called Lye. It is caustic to the skin and eyes. Use rubber gloves and eye protection when handling it. Keep vinegar on hand to neutralize it. Use common sense and handle it with care. You can purchase Potassium Hydroxide from any local chemical supplier or online at www.thechemistrystore.com. In this system 1-3 teaspoons of Potassium Hydroxide are added to 1 gallon of water.  The solution is non caustic at these low concentrations. The Potassium Hydroxide makes the solution more conductive and acts as a catalyst so it gets used up over time.  

5) What is the Ammeter Gauge for?
The Ammeter gauge included with your H2 PurePower Generator lets you know how many amps you are pulling. The amount of amps shown on the Ammeter is determined by the amount and concentration of Electrolyte you put in. For best results only add enough electrolyte to generate 15 to 20 amps. Do not exceed 20 amps. The Generators require only a teaspoon of Electrolyte (potassium hydroxide) to get them started. Once you reach the right 'Amperage' reading you should not have to add electrolyte again for 3 or 4 top-offs of water and when you do you only add a couple of flakes. Running my car at 15 amps means I only need to check my water level every 200 miles or so and add electrolyte approximately every 600 miles.

6) Do I need to purchase additional items?
Yes. The H2 Pure Power Generator is not purchased as a complete kit. You will need to purchase the following items. electrolyte, distilled water, 10 gauge braided wire, positive and negative feeds, and some 1/4 inch fuel line or plastic tubing. The amount of wire and tubing will be determined by where you install your generator. Before purchase look for a suitable place to install the unit you are planning to buy. Note the size and description on the model. Vehicles that do not have room in the engine compartment or a sealed trunk space may not be suitable. Trucks and RVs have more options.

7) Will it work with any type of fuel?
The H2 Pure Power Generator is designed to work with vehicles burning gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel and ethanol. HHO supplementation will make any vehicle burning these fuels run more efficiently and with lower emissions. The fact that you are burning cleaner also means less oil changes and it may extend the life of your catalytic converter as well, now that you are doing it's job at the burn point and not after the fact. Your catalytic converter is designed to capture and burn wasted fuel. With your H2 Pure Power Generator you get efficiency at the burn point so you save fuel. Your vehicle's computer should automatically adjust to the new air fuel mixture and you will notice a difference right from the minute you turn it on. One owner of a 1999 Toyota Camry XLE reports, "My car has always been a great running car but when I installed my H2 Pure Power Generator and turned it on I was amazed at how much smoother it was running and then driving it I noticed better performance right away. I also began to notice I didn't need to give it as much pedal. 8) How much fuel will I save?
Carbureted vehicles and diesels gain as much as 100% or more. Others depend on vehicle driving conditions, and vehicle fuel overrides such as (EFIE, MAP/MAF). The minimum gain we have noticed with proper modifications are 30%. Proper scanning tools can help you optimize and train your driving habits.

9) Will adding a H2 Pure Power Generator to my vehicle void my warranty?
In all our research we have not found one case where that has happened. By adding HHO supplementation as a performance enhancer you are not changing anything that has anything to do with your warranty nor are you in any way tampering with your factory emissions system. But I still recommend checking with the company that insures your vehicle's warranty just to be sure. All companies are different and may have different requirements.

10) What type of guarantee comes with my H2 Pure Power Generator?                              Y Your H2 Pure Power Hydrogen Generator kit comes with a one year guarantee only on broken or otherwise defective generator, bubbler, and plates.  In the case the components are damaged, crack or leak, return the H2 Pure Power hydrogen parts and HP Pure Power will replace the damaged parts. Call the company and talk to a technician before returning the generator or bubbler.  If the unit cannot be repaired, the company will send the new parts with a return label to return the damaged parts to the company.   

H2 Pure Power Generators makes no warrantee, and buyer assumes all liability.  Success of the H2 Pure Power Generator kit is dependent on many factors such as installation, driver’s driving habits, type of engine and even colder climates.  Many times, the vehicle needs to be driven for about a month until the engine is cleaned and able to utilize the hydrogen at the optimum.  Many times the engine has to be fine tuned after being driven for some weeks.  Return to your installing mechanic for the fine-tuning.

11) How many liters per minute does the HHO Generator produce?
This is subject to if you have the Generator connected to a vacuum, the quantity and quality of your electrolyte, and the ambient temperature of the Generator. Not all gas production is created equal. Finer quality HHO gas burns faster and hotter thus creating a more efficient burn. Our units produce quality hydrogen / oxygen.

12) How long does the electrolyte last?
Potassium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide produce the best HHO and should last a very long time. It is advised to change out the electrolyte every year before winter and add 20 isopropyl alcohol.

13) Can I use baking soda in my HHO booster?
No! Baking soda turns caustic and is not the best electrolyte to be used .IT WILL PRODUCE BROWN SCUM!

14) What do I do in the winter or below freezing conditions?
Add denatured alcohol (20%) to the fuel cell to keep the unit from freezing. Continue to add more throughout the cold season.

15) Why is distilled water recommended?
Calcium and other minerals will build deposits on the plates and drop efficiency. Distilled water makes for a better electrolyte solution.

16) What Amp rating is recommended for the H2 Pure Power Generator?
Limit the amp draw to 15 amps to keep the unit the coolest and generate the most hydrogen and oxygen gas possible. If you use too much electrolyte, your Generator will draw more than 20 amps, potentially boil the water out of the Generator or blow a fuse.

17) What all is included in the Kit?                                                                                   Generator Fuel Cell, bubbler, amp meter, on off switch, relay, one way safety valve, electrical connectors, and an instruction manual. The on/off switch and amp meter get installed some where on the vehicles dashboard.

18) Do I need a Pulse Width Modulator (PWM)?
No. Without a PWM, you are using what is called the "brute-force" method of electrolysis which still produce notable gains in performance and MPG. With a PWM, you can fine tune the unit and potentially create just as much HHO gas without creating heat or drawing the amperage. With a PWM you have a little more control over the unit.

19)What is an EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer/Extender)?                                         Effie circuits override oxygen sensors on vehicles that have them. Fuel enhancers produce more oxygen that is seen by the computer as too lean of a fuel mixture. Effie circuits allow fuel enhancers to do their job.

20) Do I need an EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) device for car to work with my HHO generator?                                                                                                                             Some newer computerized vehicles may need an Effie for the H2 fuel cell to work properly. H2 Pure Power is coming out with a line of chips that plug into the vehicles computer to override them. They will be available the summer of 2009.

21) Is this an on demand system and is H2 being stored?                                            Yes. This is and on demand system and no H2 is being stored.

22) Is there any danger of explosions?                                                                          No. If the fuel input line and one way valve are installed in the correct place. The bubbler acts as a flash back flash protector.

23) What materials are the H2 Pure Power Generators made? Can they withstand engine heat and is there any danger of leaking?                                                            The Generators are made of very durable high temperature plastics to withstand engine compartment heat. They are completely sealed and cannot leak.

24) Can the H2 Pure Power Generator be installed inside of the vehicle?                         No. They are installed under the hood or in the trunk.

25) Can any one install the H2 Pure Power Generator?                                                Yes. The installer will need some basic electrical knowledge. There is no warranty for home installations though.
